Season's Greetingsgs to All of Our Customers!
Best Wishes for a Wonderful Holiday and a Happy New Year from all of us at Pressed4Time! What a wonderful opportunity for us to thank you, our customers, for your loyalty and trust in us. We appreciate your support and will continue to work hard and provide you with quality, dependable service.
Too often during the year, we are all so busy that we don't appreciate what really counts: family and friends. No matter how "pressed for time" you are, be sure to make time for the important people in your life.
We wish you, your family and co-workers much happiness and joy, not only during the holiday season, but also in the coming year ahead.
How Often Do You Do Laundry?
If your answer to this question is "sometimes", "rarely" or "whenever I run out of underwear", it's time to talk.
When a group of people were asked at a reunion what most surprised them about their life as a grownup, one of the funniest answers was, "how much time I spend doing laundry." Laundry does not have to rule your life!
Depending on the size of your household (and the size of your wardrobe), you should plan on doing laundry once or twice a week. Many people find that if they schedule a particular time or day to do laundry, their life feels more manageable (not to mention that you'll avoid the dubious honor of having the world's largest laundry pile).
Think green and don't do a tiny load, but don't let laundry get out of control. Other than socks and underwear, many items of clothing can be worn more than once before washing, as long as there are no stains or odors. Don't forget to change bed linens once a week and dishtowels once a week or even more frequently if you cook a lot. Even bath towels can be re-used; many people change towels twice a week. (After all, you're clean when youre drying off, right?).
If you are feeling incredibly pressured or you're overwhelmed by an overflowing laundry hamper or basket, talk to your Pressed4Time representative. We can help.
Home Laundry Tip
We admit that washing clothes isn't rocket science, but it's a good idea to know the right way to do it so your clothes come out looking great.
Let's be honest, many people don't even read the label before they purchase laundry detergent...they simply buy a recognized name, or grab the item that's the cheapest. If you want clean clothes that don't get ruined, read on.
If your detergent says it is heavy duty or all-purpose, it's safe to use on all washable clothes and linens, except delicate items like lingerie or lace. If the detergent says it is "free" the manufacturer is not talking about cost, sorry! Free means there are no additives like dyes or scents. If you've got sensitive-skin types in your family or just like the idea of a product like this, it's a good choice. Finally, if your detergent says it is "ultra" this means it's concentrated, so it's important to use only half of what you normally would.
Once you've purchased the detergent, be sure to follow the instructions (that means don't just pour a dollop in the machine and figure that's okay-atleast not if you want your clothes to truly get cleaned correctly.) Use the measuring cup or cap provided with that particular product so you don't make a mistake, either using too little (yikes, have to wash it again!) or too much (wow, too soapy!).
Good luck!
